Where Trend Aesthetics Meet Engineering Rigor Translating Creative Vision into High-Volume Casting Feasibility
In the fast-moving imitation jewellery sector, commercial success depends on continuous design agility coupled with manufacturing repeatability. A stunning sketch is commercially worthless if prongs snap during stone setting, castings warp during cooling, or pieces prove too heavy for comfortable day-long wear.
At VM Imitation, our CAD engineering team works directly alongside senior foundry masters and casting technicians. Every new motif is modeled with precise wall thicknesses, micro-collet angles, solder contact surfaces, and balanced center-of-gravity calculationsβensuring effortless casting yield, flawless plating, and maximum end-consumer appeal.
Three Distinct Routes into Development Tailored for Wholesalers, Distributors & Private Brands
Depending on your market strategy, brand positioning, and order timeline, we support three convenient collaborative design models:
From Concept Sketch to Production Die The 4-Step Technical Mould Engineering Workflow
Our internal toolroom delivers production-ready casting dies through a controlled engineering progression:
- Step 1: 3D CAD Modelling & Casting Simulation: Designs are rendered into 3D files with precise shrinkage allowances (typically 1.5% to 2.2% depending on brass alloy cooling characteristics).
- Step 2: High-Resolution 3D Resin / CNC Milling: High-precision master prototypes are carved via 3-axis CNC engravers or photopolymer 3D printers with sub-micron layer lines.
- Step 3: Master Brass Pattern Finishing: Veteran engravers manually clean, polish, and burnish the master brass pattern under stereo-microscopes to achieve pristine surface textures.
- Step 4: Silicone Mould Vulcanization: The master die is vulcanized into multi-layer silicone blocks under heated hydraulic pressure, yielding resilient production moulds ready for mass casting.
