Industrial Metallurgy with Artisan Precision Why In-House Step-by-Step Discipline Eliminates Defect Rates
In commercial imitation jewellery supply, inconsistent product quality typically stems from fragmented multi-vendor subcontracting—where casting happens at one foundry, filing in a roadside workshop, stone setting by home workers, and plating in independent job-shops. This fragmented supply chain inevitably leads to rough seam edges, loose stone prongs, and blotchy electroplating.
VM Imitation enforces a fully unified five-stage manufacturing protocol within our single Rajkot production facility. By housing metal alloy preparation, vulcanized rubber die tooling, vacuum centrifugal casting, artisan assembly, and micro-gold plating under one roof, every phase is audited against rigid technical standards.
The 5 Core Production Milestones Engineering Rigor at Every Step of Fabrication
From initial CAD conceptualization to final carton dispatch, each jewellery lot travels through five synchronized manufacturing stages:
- Stage 1: Design Development, 3D CAM & Master Carving: Engineering designers translate approved style concepts into digital 3D CAD files. Master brass prototypes are sculpted using high-speed 3-axis CNC milling machines with microscopic accuracy on stone cavities, post angles, and filigree motifs.
- Stage 2: Toolroom Die Vulcanization & Wax Injection: Master brass dies are embedded into organic silicone and rubber blocks and cured in heated vulcanizing presses. Wax replicas are produced in vacuum-assisted wax injection chambers and assembled onto casting trees.
- Stage 3: Centrifugal Vacuum Casting & Sprue Cut: High-purity virgin brass eco-alloys are melted inside induction crucibles and cast into rotating centrifugal moulds under negative atmospheric pressure. Cast trees are quenched, pneumatic shears snip individual parts, and magnetic tumblers deburr microscopic casting seams.
- Stage 4: Artisan Brazing, Kundan Setting & Pre-Treatment: Experienced bench artisans solder earring posts, hinges, and jump rings using silver-alloy brazing rods. Kundan stones, crystals, and drop beads are hand-set into open collets. Parts are ultrasonically degreased to remove polishing fluxes.
- Stage 5: Electroplating, Cathodic Lacquering & Packing: Degreased assemblies enter automated electroplating baths for micro-gold or rhodium deposition. An electrophoretic cathodic clear-coat is thermally cured at 140°C to lock in luster. Finally, items undergo 100% optical inspection, piece-counting, and shockproof box packing.
Four In-Process Quality Audits Preventing Defective Units from Moving Downstream
To maintain a sub-0.5% return rate across wholesale export shipments, mandatory quality checkpoints separate each manufacturing phase:
Real-Time Production Tracking for B2B Buyers Direct Communication via Official Factory Desk
Unlike impersonal corporate portals, VM Imitation provides wholesale and OEM partners with direct access to our floor managers via WhatsApp:
High-resolution macro photos and video tours of pre-production samples are shared for formal sign-off before mass casting commences.
Receive milestone updates as your order transitions from casting and setting into the electroplating laboratory.
Packed boxes, weighing scale readings, and master shipping cartons are video-documented before handover to international couriers.
